During the annual meeting of the Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons in Amsterdam, Prof. Farhad Hafezi was the second-placed winner of the VSY Biotechnology`s Ophthalmology Star Award (OSA) 2021.

OSA awards are given in order to contribute to the development and growth of ophthalmology. Prof. Hafezi received the award in recognition of his work on the sub400 protocol for treating thin corneas with keratectasia with corneal cross-linking.
