Two CABMM Platform users, Scott Finlay, PhD, and Salim Darwiche, PhD, awarded first prize for best investor pitch, presenting their marketable product for cartilage repair.
As part of the BioEntrepreneurship & Innovation (BEI) program established by the Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Zurich, a jury of entrepreneurial experts awarded the first prize to Scott Finlay and Salim Darwiche for pitching their solution for cartilage repair in April 2021.
This novel cartilage repair technology is currently being developed on the CABMM Research Platform in a collaboration between two CABMM network groups: the Musculoskeletal Research Unit (Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich) and the Regenerative Therapy Unit (CHUV, Lausanne) as well as Swiss and international industrial partners. Congratulations!
