I am interested in engineering the interaction of cells with their extracellular environment to control cell fate. We develop new biomaterials, which mimic the extracellular matrix, particularly to enhance phenotypic control of chondrocytes, neurons and stem cells. In addition, biofabrication techniques including bioprinting and electrospinning are used to produce scaffolds for regenerative medicine.
