The project "Accreditation of Biological Bandages for Burns and Wounds", that is led by CABMM member Prof. Lee Ann Laurent-Applegate and her colleagues Dr. Anthony de Buys Roessingh, Prof. Wassim Raffoul and Dr. Marjorie Flahaut of the CHUV, was officially approved by Swissmedic at the beginning of this year. Research on Progenitor Biological Bandages began more than two decades ago in Lausanne and continued within the CABMM network, namely with CABMM members Prof. Brigitte von Rechenberg and Dr. Katja Nuss from the MSRU of the University of Zurich.
